Ten Plates Series (2016)

A mixed-media collage series using muslin, marker, thread, and paper. With some found images being charts of photo anthropometry Alphonse Bertillon coined to identify the "criminality" based on someone's features. This method of profiling lead way to modern-day mugshots, though his methods were later deemed false science and used as a way to falsely imprison people based on their race and physical appearance.
